Focus

Journal of Applied English Teaching is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research and scholarly works in the field of English language teaching and applied linguistics. The journal focuses on the application of theories, methods, and innovations in English language education across diverse learning contexts, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and classroom practice.

The journal seeks to advance knowledge and professional practice in English teaching and learning  by addressing contemporary challenges such as digital learning environments, multilingual education, and evolving pedagogical approaches in global contexts.

Scope

The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts, including empirical research, literature reviews, and case studies in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  1. English Language Teaching (ELT)
    Teaching methodologies, instructional design, curriculum development, and classroom practices in ESL/EFL contexts.
  2. Applied Linguistics in Language Teaching
    Language acquisition, second language acquisition (SLA), psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics relevant to English teaching.
  3. Language Skills Development
    Teaching and assessment of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills; integrated skills instruction.
